Our friend Anita in New York (we love you, Anita!) recommended Pastor Dyran to us, and that’s how he and his team came to be at our at meeting.  The Metroplex MC team worked so hard; their human videos were hilarious, moving, incredible.  Pastor Dyran’s messages were on target. 

Here are some of my notes from Saturday…

Romans 12:1 Let God transform you into a new person.  A living and holy sacrifice.  The secret to my success is all about my walk with God.

Pt 1:  The perspective of mercy.  God resists the proud.  His mercy is new every morning.  Sometimes we start mandating God, but we deserve hell and he gives us heaven.  1 Peter 2:10.

Pt. 2: The priority of a surrendered life. Get out of the way of Jesus’ plan for your life.  Offer, submit yourself.  The secret to your success is found in your surrender.

Pt. 3: The plan of transformation.  It begins with your mind.  Thought->word->action->character->habits->character->destiny.  Be a steward of thoughts.

So here’s what I want you to do, God helping you: Take your everyday, ordinary life—your sleeping, eating, going-to-work, and walking-around life—and place it before God as an offering. Embracing what God does for you is the best thing you can do for him. Don’t become so well-adjusted to your culture that you fit into it without even thinking. Instead, fix your attention on God. You’ll be changed from the inside out. Readily recognize what he wants from you, and quickly respond to it. Unlike the culture around you, always dragging you down to its level of immaturity, God brings the best out of you, develops well-formed maturity in you.
