HYPF is teaming with anti-trafficking ministries in the Houston area at this event. Join us in the movement for change by increasing your awareness of this daily tragedy.

The purpose of this event is to raise awareness on human trafficking in the U.S. and specifically here in the city of Houston. Houston is considered a major hub for human trafficking, specifically sex trafficking and it is estimated that 25 percent of all people trafficked into the United States end up in Texas.
We will be showing a short video which entails locations of brothels in Houston as well as hearing a presentation on this modern day slavery.
This event is totally free, but at the end of this event we would like to give individuals the opportunity to donate to this cause. All donations will go to a Houston based anti-human trafficking organization. Human/sex trafficking is modern day slavery and thousands of people including children are subject to this every day.
We believe the first step to putting an end to this injustice is to raise awareness and educate our community.

To get to the visitors garage for these free visitors parking spots, please refer to the directions below. Once all the spots are gone, you will be directed to the metered parking spots which cost $0.75 an hour and can be paid for by cash or debit/credit card.

-Coming from the east on I-10 (East Freeway), take the Downtown/San Jacinto exit 769B. Merge onto East Fwy/Providence St. Turn left onto Jackson St/San Jacinto St. Continue to follow San Jacinto St. Take the 2nd right onto Wood St. Turn left onto 1st St. 1st St turns right and becomes Girard St. The garage will be on the left.
-Coming from the west on I-10 (Katy Freeway), Take exit 769C for McKee St toward Hardy St.Turn right onto McKee St. Take the 2nd right onto Sterrett St. Turn left onto Walnut St. Walnut St turns right and becomes Wood St. Turn left onto 1st St. 1st St turns right and becomes Girard St. The garage will be on the left.
-Coming from the north on US-59 (Eastex Freeway), exit to I-10 West/San Antonio and stay in the far right lane. This will be the lane for the Downtown/San Jacinto exit. Follow the access road to Main Street. Take the Downtown/San Jacinto exit 769B. Merge onto East Fwy/Providence St. Turn left onto Jackson St/San Jacinto St, Continue to follow San Jacinto St. Take the 2nd right onto Wood St. Turn left onto 1st St. 1st St turns right and becomes Girard St.The garage will be on the left.
-Coming from the south on US-59 (Southwest Freeway), Take the I-10 E exit toward San Antonio W. Merge onto I-10 W. Take exit 769B toward San Jacinto St/Main St. Merge onto East Fwy/Providence St. Turn left onto Jackson St/San Jacinto St, Continue to follow San Jacinto St. Take the 2nd right onto Wood St. Turn left onto 1st St. 1st St turns right and becomes Girard St. The garage will be on the left.
-Coming from the north on I-45 (North Freeway),Take exit 60B toward Texas 8 Beltway/Frontage Rd. Merge onto I-45 Frontage Rd. Sharp left to stay on I-45 Frontage Rd. Take the ramp on the left onto I-45 S. Take exit 48A on the left for I-10 E toward Beaumont. Keep left at the fork and merge onto N Milam St. Turn left onto Franklin St. Take the 1st left onto Travis St. Slight left to stay on Travis St. Turn right onto Girard St. The garage will be on the right.
-Coming from the south on I-45 (Gulf Freeway), Take exit 46A to merge onto US-59 N toward Cleveland. Take the I-10 E exit toward San Antonio W. Merge onto I-10 W. Take exit 769B toward San Jacinto St/Main St. Merge onto East Fwy/Providence St. Turn left onto Jackson St/San Jacinto St, Continue to follow San Jacinto St. Take the 2nd right onto Wood St. Turn left onto 1st St. 1st St turns right and becomes Girard St. The garage will be on the left.
-Coming from either Memorial Drive or Allen Parkway, follow either street into downtown Houston, then turn left on Travis. Turn right onto Girard St. The garage will be on the right.
